Longshaw Estate - Peak District Walk

We set of in the afternoon and enjoyed a late evening stroll around the Longshaw Estate before returning along Curbar Edge, where the evening sun set the rocks aglow.

Looking across to Gibbet Moor as we reach the start of White Edge.
Across Curbar Edge the mast marks the high point of Sir William Hill Road.
Looking back along White Edge.
Following the broad track through Longshaw Estate.
The Companion Stone located on the path we followed out of Longshaw Estate.
Looking across the Derwent Valley from the spot where we enjoyed our sandwiches.
The sun sets the rocks on the path above Curbar Edge alight.
Turning around it's not so bright across Stoke Flat.
As Baslow Edge comes into view the sun lights up the rocks on Curbar Edge.
Pinnacle Rock is also lit up as we near the end of the walk.
